N-SHIELD Nanosilver Solution is made of silver nano particles suspended in pure water and is colorless, odourless, and tasteless.  The nanosilver particles is produced from pure silver (Ag 99.9%) through an advance synthesis process.

The particle size of N-Shield nanosilver is between 3-5 nanometer (nm), among the smallest in the industry as compared to most other colloidal silver and ionic silver solution which are generally in the range of 50nm-200nm in size.  N-Shield's nanosilver is much more smaller than our red blood cell and all viruses and bacterias. ** Ionic silver solution might not contain any physical silver particles whereas our nanosilver solution contains physical silver particles.

SIZE MATTERS

Can you imagine a small little 1cm cube of silver

(about the size of a small dice) when split into

unit nano particle size can covers an area that is 1/3 larger than a football field!

As illustrated in the diagram on the right:

  • Surface area increased by thousands and times

  • Most biological reactions occurs at nanoscale

  • Easier reaction at quantum level with more contact area (<100nm)

  • Increase catalyst effect with more easily available ions

Various researches have found that nanosilver's antimicrobial power is most potent at particle sizes of between 1nm to 10nm where it can effectively kills 99.99% of the bacillus and pathogens within seconds (much faster than most chemical agents).

Assuming another nanosilver product with an average particle size of 50nm (or even bigger, which most vendors would try to avoid mentioning), effectively N-Shield Nanosilver Solution (@5nm) would have 1,000 times more particles (& much larger surface area) based on the same concentration level. Therefore when sourcing for nanosilver solution it is important to find out what is the size of the nanosilver particles in the product.
